Fed-Funds-Futures preisen nun eine Wahrscheinlichkeit von etwa 60 % für eine Erhöhung bei der nächsten Sitzung und eine Straffung um 33 Basispunkte bis zum Jahresende ein.

Die Renditen langfristiger US-Staatsanleihen stiegen auf den höchsten Stand seit fast 19 Jahren, wobei die Rendite der 30-jährigen Anleihe 5,2273 % erreichte.

Asiatische Chip-Aktien blieben nach dem jüngsten Marktausverkauf in Südkorea, der mehr als 2 Billionen Dollar an Wert vernichtete, unter Druck. Der KOSPI fiel um 0,6 % und steuert auf einen wöchentlichen Rückgang von etwa 15 % zu, obwohl Samsung Electronics einen 19-fachen Anstieg des Betriebsgewinns im zweiten Quartal meldete.

Rohöl der Sorte Brent fiel wieder unter 90 Dollar pro Barrel, nachdem es am Vortag aufgrund der Verschärfung der Kämpfe im Nahen Osten um mehr als 7 % gestiegen war.

MARKTREAKTION

Der japanische Nikkei stieg um 1,2 %, während der breiter gefasste MSCI Asia-Pacific Index außerhalb Japans nach Schwankungen zwischen Gewinnen und Verlusten kaum verändert war. Die Nasdaq-Futures legten um 0,7 % zu, gestützt durch den starken Ausblick von Microsoft, während die Aktien von Meta unter Druck gerieten, nachdem das Unternehmen einen Rückgang des freien Cashflows im zweiten Quartal um 91 % gemeldet hatte.
