Die US-Aktien starten nach einer gemischten Entwicklung in die Woche, wobei der S&P 500 in der vergangenen Woche um 0,4 % zulegte, der Nasdaq um 0,6 % stieg und der Dow um 0,6 % fiel. Nun richtet sich die Aufmerksamkeit auf Einzelhändler, Produktionsdaten und die Federal Reserve.

Das Verbrauchervertrauen hat sich abgeschwächt, da Inflation, höhere Renditen von Staatsanleihen und geopolitische Risiken die Haushalte belasten. Die Einzelhandelsumsätze gingen im Juli um 0,6 % zurück und verfehlten damit die Erwartungen von 0,1 % Wachstum.
