Die S&P Global- und ISM-Dienstleistungsberichte am Montag werden die jüngste Momentaufnahme der US-Wirtschaft nach dem schwächer als erwartet ausgefallenen Arbeitsmarktbericht für Juni liefern. Die USA meldeten für den letzten Monat einen Zuwachs von 57.000 Arbeitsplätzen, während der Wert für Mai von 172.000 auf 129.000 nach unten korrigiert wurde und die Zahl für April von 179.000 auf 148.000 gesenkt wurde.

Die schwächeren Arbeitsmarktdaten dämpften die Erwartungen an eine weitere Zinserhöhung der Federal Reserve in diesem Jahr leicht. Daten der CME zeigen, dass Händler die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die Zinsen das Jahr höher beenden, nun bei etwa 75 % sehen, gegenüber 84 % am Vortag.

Anleger werden am Donnerstag auch die Quartalszahlen von PepsiCo auf Anzeichen für die Konsumausgaben der Verbraucher und am Freitag von Delta Air Lines auf Erkenntnisse über die Auswirkungen des Iran-Kriegs und der höheren Energiekosten prüfen.

Die US-Aktienmärkte schlossen die vergangene Woche uneinheitlich ab. Der S&P 500 endete unverändert, der Nasdaq gab um 0,8 % nach, während der Dow Jones um 1,1 % zulegte.

Unterdessen bleibt KI-Hardware eines der stärksten Themen am Markt. Micron ist in diesem Jahr um 308 % gestiegen, Intel legte um 280 % zu, AMD gewann 173 % und der Philadelphia Semiconductor Index kletterte seit Januar um rund 75 %.
