La Chine injecte de l'argent et des capacités de production dans les robots humanoïdes pour tenter de prendre la tête de la prochaine grande industrie technologique. Le problème est que ces machines ont encore du mal à accomplir des tâches basiques en dehors de démonstrations minutieusement contrôlées.

Dans un centre de formation à Liuzhou, plus de 100 robots humanoïdes apprennent des tâches telles que le tri de caisses, l'emballage de nouilles et la préparation de café. Un formateur novice peut obtenir un mouvement utilisable après 300 tentatives, tandis qu'un formateur expérimenté peut y parvenir en environ 50 tentatives.

La Chine a expédié environ 20 000 humanoïdes dans le monde l'année dernière, les fabricants chinois représentant 95 % de ce total, selon BofA Global Research. Le pays s'attend à construire plus de 100 000 unités cette année, tandis que BofA prévoit 1,2 million de livraisons mondiales annuelles d'ici 2030.

Le soutien gouvernemental est le principal moteur de cet essor. Les données sur les marchés publics examinées par Reuters ont montré au moins 230 millions de dollars d'achats publics au cours du premier semestre 2026, contre 62 millions de dollars un an plus tôt.

RÉACTION DU MARCHÉ

Les investisseurs intègrent déjà une croissance future massive. Les débuts d'Unitree à Shanghai le 19 août ont vu ses actions multipliées par plus de cinq, valorisant brièvement l'entreprise à environ 50 milliards de dollars, avant que le titre ne se replie.

Pendant ce temps, les prix baissent. Morgan Stanley s'attend à ce que le prix moyen des humanoïdes diminue de 15 % en 2026.
