L'action d'Intel grimpe après que Trump a révélé un accord de fabrication historique avec Apple

Les actions d'Intel ont bondi jeudi après que le président américain Donald Trump a annoncé qu'Apple collaborerait avec le fabricant de puces pour concevoir et fabriquer des puces aux États-Unis. Cette initiative pourrait marquer l'une des plus grandes victoires de fonderie d'Intel depuis des années et soutient les efforts de Washington pour étendre la production nationale de semi-conducteurs.

Trump a révélé l'accord dans une publication sur Truth Social, affirmant qu'Apple avait accepté de travailler avec Intel pour fabriquer ses puces en Amérique.

Ce partenariat aiderait Apple à diversifier ses options de fabrication alors que la demande pour la production de puces avancées continue de croître. Apple s'appuie actuellement fortement sur la société taïwanaise TSMC, dont les installations desservent également de grands développeurs de puces d'IA, y compris Nvidia et AMD.

Des rumeurs d'un accord de fonderie entre Apple et Intel circulent depuis mai, lorsque le Wall Street Journal a rapporté que les deux sociétés étaient parvenues à un accord préliminaire après plus d'un an de discussions.

Le gouvernement américain détient actuellement une participation de 10 % dans Intel et a promis environ 10 milliards de dollars pour soutenir l'expansion des installations nationales de fabrication de puces.

Réaction du marché

Les actions d'Intel ont bondi d'environ 6 % lors des transactions d'avant-séance et de nuit suite à l'annonce de Trump, prolongeant des gains qui ont déjà triplé la valeur du titre cette année.

Les actions d'Apple ont légèrement progressé de 0,6 %, tandis que les investisseurs ont vu dans cet accord un autre signe de l'élan croissant derrière la production de semi-conducteurs basée aux États-Unis.
