Missiles, drones et pétrole en hausse : le conflit du Golfe entre dans une nouvelle phase dangereuse

Le conflit entre l'Iran et les États-Unis s'est intensifié mercredi après que des attaques iraniennes de missiles et de drones ont frappé le Koweït, tandis que les forces américaines ont lancé des frappes près du détroit d'Hormuz. Cette dernière escalade a ravivé les inquiétudes concernant la stabilité régionale et l'approvisionnement énergétique mondial.

Les autorités koweïtiennes ont déclaré qu'une attaque iranienne avait endommagé des installations de l'aéroport international du Koweït et plusieurs sites diplomatiques. Une personne a été tuée et plus de 60 ont été blessées. Les vols ont été temporairement suspendus avant que des opérations limitées ne reprennent depuis le terminal 4.

L'armée de Bahreïn a déclaré avoir intercepté trois missiles et plusieurs drones. L'Iran a affirmé avoir visé le quartier général de la cinquième flotte américaine à Bahreïn, ainsi que d'autres installations militaires dans la région du Golfe.

L'armée américaine a déclaré que plusieurs missiles iraniens n'avaient pas atteint leurs cibles ou s'étaient désintégrés en cours de vol. Les forces américaines ont également signalé avoir intercepté des drones visant des navires civils et des positions militaires au Koweït.

Washington a confirmé des frappes sur l'île iranienne de Qeshm, près du détroit d'Hormuz, à la suite de ce qu'il a décrit comme des tentatives d'attaques iraniennes.
