Un nouvel accord américano-iranien pourrait apaiser les tensions au Moyen-Orient, rouvrir des routes énergétiques clés et préparer le terrain pour des négociations plus larges.

Les États-Unis et l'Iran s'apprêtent à dévoiler publiquement un accord intérimaire visant à mettre fin à des mois de conflit au Moyen-Orient. L'accord prolonge le cessez-le-feu actuel de 60 jours, donnant aux deux parties le temps de négocier un règlement permanent tout en allégeant la pression sur les marchés mondiaux de l'énergie.

Selon des responsables américains, l'accord sera officiellement signé en Suisse vendredi. L'accord permet à l'Iran de reprendre immédiatement ses exportations de pétrole, tandis que les États-Unis lèveront le blocus des ports iraniens.

L'Iran rétablira également le trafic maritime par le détroit d'Hormuz, l'une des routes de transport d'énergie les plus importantes au monde. Le président Donald Trump a déclaré que l'accord garantit que l'Iran n'obtiendra pas d'arme nucléaire, bien que les négociations détaillées sur le programme nucléaire de Téhéran se poursuivront au cours des 60 prochains jours.

L'accord pourrait à terme conduire à un assouplissement plus large des sanctions, à la libération d'avoirs gelés et à un projet de fonds de reconstruction de 300 milliards de dollars soutenu par les États du Golfe si l'Iran respecte ses engagements futurs.

Cependant, des questions majeures restent non résolues, notamment le programme de missiles de l'Iran, son soutien aux groupes armés régionaux et le rôle d'Israël dans le conflit plus large. Les autorités israéliennes ont déclaré qu'elles n'étaient pas liées par cet accord.

RÉACTION DU MARCHÉ

Les marchés pétroliers ont réagi immédiatement. Les prix du brut ont chuté de plus de 2 % mardi après avoir baissé de près de 5 % la veille, atteignant leur plus bas niveau en trois mois, les traders intégrant une réduction des risques liés à l'offre.

Les valeurs énergétiques et les compagnies maritimes restent prudentes, beaucoup attendant de voir si le cessez-le-feu tient avant de rétablir pleinement leurs opérations par le détroit d'Hormuz.
