  • Südkoreas Exporte im Mai erreichten einen Rekordwert von 87,75 Milliarden US-Dollar – das stärkste jährliche Wachstum seit über vier Jahrzehnten –, was größtenteils auf die Nachfrage im Bereich der KI zurückzuführen ist. 

  • NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang betritt heute die Bühne auf der Computex in Taiwan, um die neueste KI-Roadmap des Unternehmens vorzustellen.

Marktreaktion

Steigende Ölpreise setzten die Rentenmärkte unter Druck. Die Renditen der 10-jährigen US-Anleihen stiegen um 1 Basispunkt auf 4,46 %, während die Renditen der 10-jährigen deutschen Anleihen um 4,2 Basispunkte auf 2,98 % sprangen. Der Dollar legte gegenüber dem Yen um 0,12 % zu und drückte das Paar auf 159,46, gefährlich nahe an die Marke von 160, die in der Vergangenheit japanische Interventionen ausgelöst hat.

Europäische Aktien gaben leicht nach, da Kursgewinne im Energiesektor durch Schwächen bei Fluggesellschaften und im Verteidigungssektor ausgeglichen wurden. Die Märkte in Tokio und Seoul hielten sich nahe an ihren Allzeithochs.

Ein stärkerer Wert würde die Wetten auf eine Zinserhöhung verschärfen und den Dollar wahrscheinlich weiter stärken. Fed-Sprecher werden im Laufe der Woche den Ton angeben – achten Sie auf eine eventuelle Abkehr von der aktuellen neutralen bis lockeren Haltung.
