Die US-Aktien-Futures zeigten sich am frühen Montag uneinheitlich, nachdem die Wall Street die vergangene Woche im Minus beendet hatte. Die Anleger richten ihr Augenmerk weiterhin auf den sich verschärfenden Konflikt im Nahen Osten, der die Ölpreise in die Höhe getrieben und die Unsicherheit auf den globalen Märkten erhöht hat.

Gleichzeitig bereiten sich die Händler auf eine arbeitsreiche Woche mit Unternehmenszahlen vor, angeführt von Alphabet, Tesla und Intel.

WICHTIGE DETAILS

Die S&P 500-Futures legten um 0,2 % zu, während die Nasdaq-100-Futures um 0,5 % kletterten. Die Dow-Futures blieben nahezu unverändert.

In der vergangenen Woche fiel der S&P 500 um 1,6 %, der Nasdaq Composite sank um 2,9 % und der Dow Jones Industrial Average verlor 0,9 %. Chiphersteller blieben unter Druck, wobei der VanEck Semiconductor ETF um fast 9 % nachgab und damit den dritten wöchentlichen Rückgang innerhalb von vier Wochen verzeichnete.

Die Marktstimmung verschlechterte sich weiter, nachdem die USA die neunte Nacht in Folge Militärschläge gegen den Iran geflogen hatten. Das US-Militär bestätigte zudem, dass ein weiterer Soldat bei jüngsten Operationen getötet wurde, was die Sorge vor einer weiteren Eskalation des Konflikts schürte.

Die Ölpreise reagierten prompt. Rohöl der US-Sorte West Texas Intermediate stieg um mehr als 3 % auf über 85 USD pro Barrel, während die Sorte Brent auf über 91 USD kletterte.

Unterdessen warten die Anleger auf die Quartalszahlen von Alphabet und Tesla am Mittwoch, gefolgt von Intel am Donnerstag.

MARKTREAKTION

Höhere Ölpreise stützten die Energietitel, während Halbleiteraktien weiterhin zu kämpfen hatten. Die Renditen von Staatsanleihen legten leicht zu, während die Anleger die geopolitischen Entwicklungen aufmerksam verfolgten. In Asien zeigten sich die Märkte uneinheitlich: Der südkoreanische Kospi gab nach, während der Hang Seng in Hongkong zulegen konnte.
