NVIDIA dépasse de nouveau les estimations, mais les investisseurs ne sont pas impressionnés

Des prévisions de chiffre d'affaires de 91 milliards de dollars et une nouvelle puce Vera n'ont pas suffi à empêcher le repli de l'action après la clôture.

NVIDIA a une fois de plus dépassé les attentes de Wall Street. Mais cette fois-ci, le marché est resté de marbre. Le fabricant de puces a publié des résultats supérieurs aux prévisions et a présenté des perspectives qui écrasent les estimations, pourtant l'action a reculé de 1,6 % dans les transactions hors séance, les investisseurs évaluant la concurrence croissante face à un nouveau trimestre de chiffres records.

  • NVIDIA a enregistré un chiffre d'affaires de 81,62 milliards de dollars au premier trimestre, dépassant ainsi l'estimation de 78,86 milliards de dollars. Les revenus des centres de données ont atteint 75,2 milliards de dollars, contre 72,8 milliards attendus. Le bénéfice par action (BPA) ajusté s'est établi à 1,87 $, surpassant la prévision de 1,76 $.

  • Pour le deuxième trimestre, l'entreprise prévoit un chiffre d'affaires de 91 milliards de dollars (±2 %), bien au-dessus de l'estimation de 86,84 milliards de dollars de Wall Street. NVIDIA a également annoncé un programme de rachat d'actions de 80 milliards de dollars et a augmenté son dividende trimestriel de 0,01 $ à 0,25 $ par action.

  • Le CEO Jensen Huang a présenté le processeur central « Vera », visant un marché potentiel de 200 milliards de dollars. Il table sur 20 milliards de dollars de revenus générés par Vera d'ici la fin de l'exercice fiscal, un chiffre distinct de sa prévision existante de 1 000 milliards de dollars pour ses puces IA Blackwell et Rubin d'ici 2027.
