Apple registra trimestre recorde para o iPhone, mas um alerta faz as ações despencarem

A Apple espera que a receita do trimestre de setembro cresça entre 9% e 11%, abaixo da previsão de 12% de Wall Street. O CFO Kevan Parekh também projetou um crescimento na receita do iPhone na faixa de meados de 15% (mid-teens), abaixo da estimativa de 17,6% dos analistas.

O CEO Tim Cook disse que o maior desafio continua sendo a escassez de capacidade avançada de fabricação de chips, limitando a capacidade da Apple de atender à demanda. A receita de serviços cresceu 12,1%, para US$ 30,74 bilhões, ficando abaixo da estimativa de US$ 31,22 bilhões, já que a receita de jogos da App Store enfrentou pressão e as mudanças regulatórias pesaram sobre o crescimento.
