Reação do Mercado

A alta dos preços do petróleo pressionou os mercados de títulos. Os rendimentos dos títulos de 10 anos dos EUA subiram 1 ponto-base, para 4,46%, enquanto os rendimentos alemães de 10 anos saltaram 4,2 pb, para 2,98%. O dólar subiu 0,12% em relação ao ienes, empurrando o par para 159,46, perigosamente perto do nível de 160 que historicamente desencadeou a intervenção japonesa.

As ações europeias caíram ligeiramente, pois os ganhos de energia foram compensados pela fraqueza nas companhias aéreas e na defesa. Os mercados em Tóquio e Seul mantiveram-se perto de máximas históricas.
